Graduate Center





The Graduate Center was opened in 1976 for Gavin House Graduates as a way to extend their
treatment for four to six more months in a less restrictive structure environment.There are 8 beds for
residents and1 live in House Manager.

The Graduate Center has always been a self sufficient program not receiving any state or federal funding.

 
The Graduate Center has always been staffed by 1 live in staff manager who is responsible for the safety and security of the Center, collecting program fee’s, facilitation of weekly in house group and monitoring the resident’s progress and to make recommendations to the Director of the Gavin House.

 
Residents are required to attend 4 outside AA meetings, Aftercare Group and the in-house group every week. Mandatory drug testing is done on a regular basis.
