JOB TITLE: BH-JI Supervisor

REPORTS TO: VP of Clinical Services

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Clinical Supervisor oversees personnel decisions and other administrative matters. This person responsibility ensuring the program’s effectiveness and provides the case managers and CSP workers with clinical supervision and chart compliance. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the clinical care provided is consistent with empirical data on successful use of DRT, case management, and substance abuse counseling. The clinical supervisor should meet weekly with all clinical staff members, discussing cases and providing feedback regarding clinical decisions. Additionally, team members are encouraged to seek advice from the clinical supervisor, particularly when team members disagree as to the best course of action, in which case the clinical supervisor makes the determination.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Ability to Supervise Bachelors and Recovery Coaches/CSP workers

* Ability to help staff formulate service plan and provide timely documentation

* Ability to supervise staff who are working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system

* Attend weekly individual supervision

* Review assessments for accuracy

*Enter monthly billing through our EHR

* Ensure that the program policies are followed and document any deviation of said policies

*Travel to satellite locations 5 times a month—milage reimbursed

* Provide crisis intervention when necessary

*Attend funder meetings by phone and zoom

* Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have a Master’s Degree and state licensure

* Be knowledgeable of the current continuum of care system

* Must have effective speaking and writing skills

* Demonstrated ability to supervise staff.

* Knowledge of laws governing confidentiality and rules of ethical behavior

* Ability to work with others

* Personal characteristics of understanding, dedication, warmth, empathy and genuineness are

Essential

* Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues and support staff

* If in recovery from alcohol or other substances you must have two years of continuous sobriety

* Must meet Massachusetts CORI requirements

* Must have Massachusetts Drives License

DESIRED SKILLS:

* Working knowledge of 12 Step Programs / Self Help Programs

SCHEDULE: Varies with start time of 7:30 or 8:00 AM depending on need.
